Toyota Debuts New Tundra TRD Sport for 2018

2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport

We’re excited to announce that the Tundra is adding a new performance-oriented model to the lineup! The 2018 Tundra TRD Sport will go on sale in Deerfield Beach later this year and we’ve got details about its new features.

On the exterior, the new Tundra TRD Sport will flaunt:

  • Color-keyed mirrors, bumpers and a hood scoop
  • Mesh grille with body-color surround
  • LED headlights and fog lights
  • Daytime Running Lights
  • Option of CrewMax or Double Cab

There are also five attractive paint color options, including Barcelona Red Metallic, Magnetic Gray, Midnight Black Pearl, Blazing Blue Pearl and Super White.

The new TRD Sport’s primary performance additions include TRD front/rear anti-sway bars and TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks. Together these features aid the new model in delivering maximized handling and driving dynamics no matter the terrain.

What else is new on the 2018 Tundra?

Compared to outgoing Toyota Tundra models, the new 2018 lineup sees refreshed exterior styling as well as standard Toyota Safety Sense-P on all models, which means that intelligent driver-assist features like a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection won’t require an additional cost. Several models also receive new LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights to enhance both safety and looks.
