The award-winning Sienna recently claimed yet another prestigious title and this time it's one that recognizes the minivan's core values and characteristics. With Sienna, it's all about family, so receiving a spot on KBB.com's Best Family Cars list is an extremely satisfying win for Toyota.
When determining which sedans, minivans and SUVs deserved a spot on their 12 Best Family Cars list, Kelley Blue Book's editorial staff actually worked in conjunction with families to select vehicles that catered most to their needs. Hundreds of vehicles were considered, several driving and usability tests were performed, and in the end votes were cast to see which models offered the best stuff for families.
Out of those hundreds of vehicles, the 2014 Toyota Sienna took a highly coveted spot on a very short list, and it's no surprise to us.

Kelley Blue Book examined numerous vehicles and narrowed their list down to the 12 most family-friendly models based on factors such as versatility, safety, performance, rear-seat entertainment, room for child seats and ease of use. In regard to selecting the Sienna, editors stated, "With the largest cargo area of any of the vehicles we tested, flexible seating, and the only all-wheel-drive system available on any minivan, the Sienna's popularity is well founded."
Additionally, when citing the key strengths of every winner, judges said they were won over by the Sienna's long-slide second row. They named it the minivan's top family feature because it offers lots of space to add in a booster seat, excellent legroom and super easy access to the third row.
