There’s something special in store for the 2016 Toyota Camry and Corolla this year! If you have a thing for cars with exclusive content that you can’t find on every model, these two bestsellers are offered with new options that are perfect for you!
From August 2015 through January 2016, Toyota will produce limited-production Camry and Corolla Special Editions with exclusive paint colors and equipment that flaunt an added dose of aggressiveness and technology.
2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition
The 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition can be had in vibrant Blue Streak Metallic (pictured above) or Blizzard Pearl exterior colors and features notable appearance upgrades like Dark Blue interior trim, sport seats with blue inserts and blue contrast stitching, and a power tilt/slide moonroof. Other sporty additions include a smoked tail-lamp treatment, special meter cluster with a high-res TFT display, and unique 18-inch alloy wheels which show off an eye-catching contrast of gloss black painted accents and machined face.
2016 Camry Special Editions also include several awesome tech features, like wireless smartphone charging, a Smart Key System (can open truck and front doors) with Push Button Start, and the Entune Audio Plus package with Connected Navigation added on.
The Camry Special Edition is based on the SE, but is distinguished by all of the aforementioned updates. It does, however, come with the SE’s base features and its 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission.
2016 Toyota Corolla Special Edition
The 2016 Corolla Special Edition (pictured below) builds on the Corolla S Plus trim level and adds many unique upgrades of its own, including rear disc brakes, paddle shifters on the steering wheel and a Sport Driving Mode, all of which contribute to that extra dose of aggression we were mentioning. Corolla Special Editions also get a sleek black interior with red contrast stitching in several areas, red accents on the door trim and dash panel and black mixed media seats.
On the exterior, they receive slick 17-inch alloy wheels with gloss black finish and a Special Edition badge. Three exclusive colors are available too, including Absolutely Red, Super White and Black Sand Pearl. A power tilt/slide moonroof and Entune system with Nav/App Suite are offered as options.
