In 2020, the 200 Series Land Cruiser Heritage Edition debuted for the first time. The Heritage Edition joined the Land Cruiser ranks as the second trim level. The Heritage Edition returns for the 2021 model year with some additional features and options, including a newly-available third row of seats that allows you to choose between a seating capacity for five or a bench-style seat for eight. The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition can be ordered in a few more paint colors for the 2021 model year, including black metallic paint color and a shade called Blizzard Pearl. The Land Cruiser still has many distinguishing exterior features, including head-turning 18-inch wheels with a bronze coating. The Land Cruiser is filled with technology, safety, and comforts on the inside for a pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable ride.

While the Land Cruiser has a well-connected and luxurious cabin, its exterior features a strong and durable build that is reminiscent of its earliest days as a true adventure vehicle. The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition has a number of external parts this year that make it even more capable of tackling tough and unpredictable terrain. An independent suspension system is one notable element, including a coil-spring suspension in the back and a double-wishbone suspension system in the front. The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition also gets low-range gearing that provides additional traction and durability when you need it most. The Heritage Edition is powered by a V8 turbocharged engine that delivers more than 380 HP and just over 400 LB-FT in torque. This engine is paired with advanced mechanical assist technologies, including hill start assist, CRAWL control, off-road turn assist, and multi-terrain select for wheel slip control. Skid plates and an iconic roof rack are other exterior features on the 200 Series Heritage Edition.

The interior has something for everyone. Leather seats ensure a comfortable ride, no matter how long the journey. The infotainment system features state-of-the-art technology with a nine-inch display screen with app integration, Bluetooth, and satellite radio. A JBL sound system offers high-end sound quality. Heated and ventilated seats in the front offer premium comfort in all conditions. A wireless phone charging station and voice-controlled navigation are other notable interior highlights of the Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. Safety includes parking sensors in front and back, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision avoidance, and safety technology for towing.
