What is the Toyota Tacoma Maintenance Schedule?

If you want your Toyota Tacoma to serve you better for a long, maintain the recommended service intervals. However, check the driver's manual for your Toyota Tacoma guidelines on service intervals to get the most accurate recommendations. We have created a maintenance schedule for our Tacoma drivers to help them identify which routine should be performed.

5,000 Miles

At 5000 miles, it is time to check the engine oil, oil filter, and coolant. The brake pads are also inspected to ensure safety on the road. The technician also rotates the wheels and checks the windshield wiper blades to ensure that there are no damages.

10,000 Miles

At this level, the technician checks the cabin air purifier, and the oil filter is changed if needed. The service expert also takes the vehicle for a road test to ensure that all parts perform well.

15,000 Miles

At 15,000 miles, your Tacoma is ready for another maintenance schedule. The technician rotates the tires and aligns them to ensure equal wear. The driver's floor mat is checked and correctly installed, and the fluids are also checked and topped to the right gauge. The service expert then checks the windshield wiper and replaces them incase they are faulty. The propeller shaft bolt is also torqued to ensure efficient performance. The ball joints also require inspection and replacements. The exhaust pipes are also inspected at this level. The radiator and steering gear are also checked before going for a road test to determine the performance of all parts.

20,000 Miles

The ball joints and dust covers are inspected and replaced where need be. Several inspections should be made at this stage, depending on your vehicle's usage and maintenance. The oil filter and engine oil are changed, and another service interval is set.

30,000 Miles

At this level, the transmission performance is checked for possible leaks. At this point, the fuel cap gasket is inspected for possible leakage and replacement. You can also expect regular inspections at 5000 miles and, after that, a road test.Maintaining your Toyota Tacoma well is an assurance of longevity and better performance.
