What's New For the 2020 Toyota Sequoia?
The Toyota Sequoia is a large SUV that is perfect for many families. In 2020, this vehicle manages to get even better. One major upgrade involves the infotainment system. Standard on all trim levels is now a beautiful 7-inch screen and smartphone integration through either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Also, now standard is a convenient WiFi hotspot. Finally, a brand-new trim, known as the TRD Pro, joins your list of options to consider.

2020 Sequoia Has Abundant Features
Now that there is the TRD Pro model, there are a total of five trim levels that you can choose from. The entry-level model is known as the SR5. Coming standard here are great features such as tri-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, power-adjustment for the driver's seat, an eight-speaker audio system, and all the new tech mentioned above. Going with the TRD Sport means taking those excellent features and adding second-row captain's chairs and stylish 20-inch wheels. It also gets anti-sway bars as well as Bilstein shocks, helping to make it more off-road ready.
Deciding you want the Limited trim means getting leather upholstery and heated front seats. It also means you get navigation, power-adjustment for the passenger's seat, and a 12-speaker audio system to enjoy your favorite music on. The third row of seats even gains the ability to power-fold and power-recline.
As for that new TRD Pro, it is the only one of the five trims to come standard with four-wheel drive. Further adding to its off-road capability are the upgraded shock absorbers as well as the front skid plate. Inside the cabin, you find an impressive 14-speaker premium audio system.
Finally, there is the Limited trim of the Toyota Sequoia. It gets heated second-row captain's chairs and ventilation for the front seats. Also added here is a useful rear-seat Blu-Ray system for keeping the masses entertained. Perhaps most significantly, the Limited trim has an adaptive air suspension for keeping your ride smooth.
Toyota Sequoia Performance
Underneath the hood of all five of those trim levels is a mighty 5.7L V8 that generates 381-horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. Working with this engine is a six-speed automatic transmission. Except for the TRD Pro, all models come standard with rear-wheel drive but can be upgraded to all-wheel drive instead.
Sequoia Safety In the Forefront
Anyone of the five trim levels of the Sequoia will give you a long list of standard safety features for keeping you and your loved ones safe. All models are equipped with a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection. You also get front and rear parking sensors as well as a rearview camera.
