2021 Toyota Tundra

What's New For the 2021 Toyota Tundra?

Some new and notable features are in store for the Toyota Tundra in 2021. This year, the Tundra has two new trims available in the lineup, which are the Nightshade and the Trail Special Edition. The Nightshade features blacked-out treatment inside and out and from front to back. The Trail Special Edition is equipped for off-road performance with many of the same off-road features that the TRD Pro offers. Along with an expanded lineup, the Tundra introduces a new paint color to the TRD Pro. The 2021 Tundra has the same engine for all trims, a potent V8 that delivers predictable and robust power and impressive towing capabilities.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

The 2021 Tundra lineup has six trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro. You can also get the full-size Toyota pickup truck in three bed lengths across several cab configurations: double-cab, crew-cab, and CrewMax. The Nightshade Special Edition and Trail Edition packages are available on certain trims.

The base SR brings several conveniences to the table, including a seven-inch touchscreen interface that includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa integration. The base Tundra trim also gets a six-speaker sound system. The SR5 has an 8-inch infotainment display and fog lights. Many options are available through packages, including 20-inch wheels, more safety, navigation, and extra USB ports.

The Limited trim adds 20-inch wheels, standard LED lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats trimmed in leather. Platinum, only available in the CrewMax and short-bed combination, adds more luxury items, including heated and ventilated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, upgraded navigation, and a premium JBL audio system, and full leather seating. Adding exterior chrome accents with the same Platinum trim features, you get the 1794 Edition trim. The off-roading beast, TRD Pro, includes a TRD front skid plate, 18-inch BBS forged aluminum wheels, black leather seating, and special TRD Pro badging.
