Winning a Top Rated vehicle award from Edmunds is a great honor and this year Toyota won four times. Awards went to the 2014 Highlander SUV, Avalon sedan, Prius hybrid and Sienna minivan, all of which received A ratings in Edmunds' testing.
The publication had a special team that spent months evaluating 200 car, SUV and truck models. Along with assessing features, safety and several other vehicle aspects, they also analyzed a variety of performance attributes on Edmunds' exclusive test track. In addition to receiving excellent scores in these tests - and four awards in the process - Toyota also received honors for seven vehicles that made it on Edmunds' 2014 Most Popular list. These honorees were selected based on the number of times they were researched by consumers on Edmunds.com's website:

- RAV4: Compact Crossover SUV
- Avalon: Large Car
- Tundra: Large Truck
- Camry: Midsize Car
- Highlander: Midsize Crossover SUV
- Sienna: Minivan
