Take a short drive up to Boca Raton this weekend for the Wine & Food Festival at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). In its fifth year, A Culinary Affair continues to offer delicious gourmet cuisine, some of the best wine selections in the world and tasty craft brews. The festival takes place this Friday through Sunday, Nov. 14-16, 2014, and will include a Grand Tasting, Vineyard Party and Craft Brew Battle, along with "passport" ticket options that give guests access to multiple events.

The Grand Tasting, which takes place this Saturday, offers an opportunity for guests to mingle with popular chefs from the tri-county area. Over 75 chefs will cook up delectable dishes and you can pair them with some of the best wine varietals out there. Or check out the Vineyard Party this Friday, which will also offer scrumptious food paired with plenty of wine varietals.

If you're a beer lover, you won't want to miss the Craft Brew Battle - it'll be A Hoppy Affair! Whether you have a taste for Pales, Wits or Blondes, the party offers many options. Plus, what's the best way to enjoy a cold brew? With food of course! So you'll get to enjoy and vote on the Battle's best food and beer pairings!

Complete your experience by checking out live entertainment at the main stage and don't forget to stop by the Craft Brew, Fine Wine and Artisanal Cheese Village, where you can learn more about fromage, sweet reds, sparkling whites, IPAs and more. In addition, there will be live cooking demos at IKEA Kitchen Alley, a Sensory Garden where you can hang out with the event's sommeliers and a Farmer's Market with fresh produce, along with other interesting stops.

Finally, before you leave the festival, visit the Retail Bazaar and Wine Store to purchase your favorite beverages and experience pairing your own home meals with fine wines and craft beer.
