Deerfield Beach's very own Quiet Waters Park has been transformed into a medieval playground where locals can go to watch jousting, Irish dancing and all sorts of swashbuckling performances! It's the only fair in the city where you can grab a turkey leg while dressed as a fairy or jester and browse a renaissance-inspired marketplace full of custom handmade jewelry, art and other trinkets.

Celtic Mayhem, Charry Garcia and other acts provide traditional music, setting the scene and providing a true medieval-era feel to the park. Costumed actors and actresses also roam throughout the festival grounds and interact with guests. Additionally, if you really want to be transported back to renaissance times, you won't want to miss the royal events. And as usual, there's a souvenir shop at the festival, so you can take a piece of the medieval times home with you!

The Florida Renaissance Festival takes place now through March 15, 2015, on Saturdays and Sundays only. Tickets are available online or you may purchase them at the entrance, including tickets for the new Florida Renaissance Festival Pub Crawl. Quiet Waters Park is located at 401 S. Powerline Rd. in beautiful Deerfield Beach, Florida.
