This Independence Day chill out on the beach, have a cold beverage, check out fireworks and enjoy hanging out with your fellow community members at the 4th of July Celebration. It’s the biggest event thrown by the City of Deerfield Beach annually. Last year, more than 70,000 guests came out and another huge turnout is expected this year.

On Saturday, July 4, 2015, the excitement commences with a variety of festivities including arts and crafts, food, kids’ activities, live music and a gigantic fireworks extravaganza! There will be plenty of fun things to do throughout the afternoon and evening, whether you want to catch a live musical performance or explore the many vendor booths that will be stationed around the area.

The party starts with a bang at noon with music from Making Faces, followed by Uproot Hootenanny at 1:30 p.m., County Line Road at 3 p.m., Bluefire Band at 5:15 p.m. and the Journey tribute band Never Stop Believin’ at 7:30 p.m. Once the musical performances wrap up, a grand fireworks display will take place at 9 p.m., culminating the event with a fantastic light show that’s not to be missed!

If you come out, make sure to bring along lawn chairs or blankets and plenty of water!
