Five Trims and Significant Interior Features for 2019

When you arrive at our reputable Toyota dealership, you can check out each of the five available trims for the 2019 Highlander. The current trims carry over from last year, and they are the LE, the LE Plus, the XLE, the SE and the Limited. Some trims are available as hybrid vehicles, and all are sold with a gas powertrain option. The base Highlander LE has an extensive array of features that add to the quality of your driving experience.

Standard and optional equipment at the LE level includes an integrated backup camera, cloth interior with attractive color options, a rear spoiler, speed-sensing power door locks, remote keyless entry with illumination, powered windows with an automatic up-down feature, auto off-on headlights with a daytime running feature, LED tail lights, several 12-volt power outlets, a customizable digital driver's instrumentation gauge, a color 6.1-inch infotainment system screen, 18-inch wheels and integrated turn signals in the heated and power-adjustable side mirrors.

Many of these same features carry through the higher trim levels, and each step up in the trims adds a few additional features. At the Limited trim, the Highlander is equipped with 19-inch wheels, voice recognition, a Smart Key system, LED fog lights, a larger color screen for the infotainment system, blue LED ambient lighting throughout the cabin, several USB ports and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Outstanding Performance Comes Standard in the Highlander

The lower Highlander trims for 2019 are outfitted with a DOHC 4-cylinder, 2.7-liter gas engine, and this puts out 185 hp and 184 pounds-feet of torque. The gas-powered alternative is a DOHC V6, 3.5-liter powertrain with 295 horsepower and 263 pounds-feet of torque. This 3.5-liter powertrain is also available in a hybrid variant for select 2019 trims.

The new 2019 Highlander performance is enhanced by a unified body construction, front-wheel drive, power-assisted anti-lock braking, and power steering. A sport-tuned suspension is available in select trims, and a standard independent front and rear suspension system is the alternative.
